Kicking off what is set to be the first of many, we've teamed up with Young Henrys to record a live performance with up and coming punk band APCO.

APCO are a group of friends from country Victoria that reconvened later in life. Getting together in a room in September 2019 to find themselves creating gutter, dirge, thrash and pop all rolled into one.

Fast songs, slow songs, fast songs with slow bits and slow songs with fast bits- rife with personality.

Trading Aces

There's never been a more important time to support local businesses as many struggle to pay the bills and keep the doors open through the extension of the Stage 4 lockdown in Melbourne.

Many pubs and bars have been forced into developing or expanding takeaway options to bring any funds they can through the doors. One option venues have opted for is the takeaway cocktail which is becoming increasingly popular with the weather starting to warm up.

Here's a list of some of our favourite offerings in the 3181 area,

218 Chapel St, Prahran

Exclusively open Friday and Saturdays with a delivery option for local residents,

Death Or Glory has a delicious selection of cocktails on offer.

We highly recommend the bottle of 'Tommy's Spicy Margarita' alongside one of the epic meal deals they've got running.

Good spot to pick up that parma you've been craving!

YellowBird Cafe

1/122 Chapel St, Windsor

Yellowbird is currently pumping out delicious takeaway Margaritas and they are on point! Perfect Sunday afternoon activity.

Oscar Cooper

160 Greville St, Prahran

$10 cocktails all day, everyday! Can't go wrong! Perfect in the sun or on the run! Watch out for those pesky PSO's!

180 High Street, Windsor

It's fair to say everyone is really missing overseas travel right now, drop in for a takeaway taste of Spain at this new little Tapas Bar that has popped up. The Sangria will take you back to better days.

173 High St, Prahran

A delicious selection of high end cocktails to go. Stock em up and enjoy from home (or whack a straw right in the jar if you can't wait that long!

While you're there grab yourself something from the iconic Pablos Escoburgers.

Leonard's House Of Love

3 Wilson St, South Yarra

We know this one is just outside the post code but it had have an honorary mention!

The frozen Pina Colada's are a personal favourite that we couldn't help but go back for over and over again. Leonard's has gone above and beyond with the presentation and attention to detail with their takeaway drinks.

TOP TIP - This is a pretty good starting point for a Weekend Walk, we like to start here and hit every venue on the way back to Windsor.

Don't forget to drink within your abilities though, theres a good chance it's been a while.

The last few issues have been pretty red hot so we've pumped the breaks for a lazy long weekend. Kick back and relax.

BRAND - RAW Papers

Naturally unbleached plant product, no genetically modified shit and vegan friendly.

A paper for any occasion; the original and the best.

If you know you know. If you didn't, now you do.

Get 'em at any self respecting tobacco slinging extortion centre.

BREW - Allpress Coffee

With a handful of tasty blends on offer, you're sure to be jumping off the couch for a shit in no time!

Starting out roasting beans in the shed in New Zealand back in 1989, Allpress has grown into an international bean slinger and now hustles 'em all over the world.

I drink the espresso blend after punching it through the trusty Aeropress; the daily forearm workout and great all round gift.

The A.R.T espresso roast also gets a notable mention from behind the lens.

Quality coffee, getting your Sunday started right.

BOOK - Disposable by Sean Cliver

Far out, if ya can still find a copy of this beaut absolutely don't hesitate, pick one up!

Just don't buy it on fucking Ebay ($500.00!!!!). Packed full with some of the best skateboard graphics of all time, this board bible has it all. First published in 2004 'Disposable' tells the story behind notable graphics and artists from the last three decades and interviews everyone involved.

Some of my favourites include the story behind Natas Kaupas 'Devil Worship' 101 board and the focus on Mark Gonzales producing art for his pro boards throughout his career.

A history lesson for anyone who's even remotely interested in the development of Skateboarding culture and its evolution.

A solid 10/10 from me.

Roll one up and enjoy the long weekend!
